Photography Sessions
Great Lakes Raptor Center offers both private photography sessions and group photography events featuring our resident education raptors.
Our birds are free-flight trained, giving photographers the opportunity to capture natural behaviors rarely accessible outside of a wild setting.

Private Photography Bookings
Experience a private photography session with one or two of our owl ambassadors.
This session is designed for photographers, nature enthusiasts, and wildlife lovers seeking the opportunity to capture unique images while learning about these incredible birds.
Each session begins with an educational introduction to the birds, followed by dedicated photography time.
Please note: camera proximity and positioning are always determined by the comfort and welfare of the birds. Opportunities for close-up photography may vary based on each bird's individual needs and preferences on the day of your session.

Photography Events
We periodically host small-group photography events combining education with dedicated photography time.
These include our annual fall and winter outdoor sessions, as well as occasional specialty events throughout the year.
