Cancellation Policies
Force-Free Policy
At Great Lakes Raptor Center, the welfare of our raptors is our highest priority. While it's rare, a raptor may occasionally be unable or unwilling to participate in a program. We always respect that — it's how we maintain trust with each bird and keep them enthusiastic about programming over time.
If a bird refuses participation before we arrive at the program location, the program may be rescheduled for a future date, or canceled and fully refunded.
If a bird refuses participation after a program has already begun, the program will continue without that raptor. Programs that have already begun are not eligible for reschedule or refund for any reason.
Because of this policy, we also cannot guarantee that any specific raptor will be featured at your event. Though we do everything we can to ensure our raptors want to participate (and refusal is rare), the final lineup is subject to change at any time.
Weather Policy
If disruptive weather conditions require cancellation before a program begins, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
Once a program has been underway for 15 minutes, it cannot be refunded or rescheduled for any reason.
